Against The Storm is set to release a new expansion titled Keepers Of The Stone on September 26th, introducing players to a whole new biome and a unique set of challenges. This expansion will allow players to delve into the Coastal Groves and build settlements along the water, while also adding new features such as frog people and water-based expeditions.

The Coastal Groves biome offers players the opportunity to construct Strider Ports and embark on water-based expeditions on the backs of water striders. Additionally, players will have access to new buildings like the Pantry, Cannery, and the Frog House. The Frog House serves as a unique shelter for the frog people, which can be upgraded to keep them happy and provide them with “unique benefits” at each level.

In addition to the new expansion, Against The Storm will also receive update 1.4 on September 26th. This update will include a new fishing system, new requirements, new goods, and various other changes for free. However, players will need to purchase the DLC to access the frogs, the new biome, and other expansion features. The price for the DLC has not been announced yet.

Although I have not had the chance to revisit Against The Storm since its full release, the game was well-received during its Early Access phase. It is evident that Eremite Games has put effort into making the game enjoyable for players, and I have faith that this expansion will bring even more excitement and challenges to the game.

Overall, Keepers Of The Stone expansion for Against The Storm looks promising with its new biome, frog people, and water-based expeditions. Players can look forward to exploring the Coastal Groves and building a thriving town despite the challenges posed by the Blightstorm. With the addition of new features and updates, this expansion is sure to enhance the gameplay experience and provide hours of entertainment for fans of the game.
